WHO WE ARE
In early 2016 our Waido team decided to make the automotive world better. Hundreds of custom-made parts later, we did our first large-scale tuning project. That was when the first Waido widebody kit was born both in ABS plastic and carbon fiber. Since then we have been bringing state-of-the-art technologies for ABS and CF production together in order to create the highest quality products that are durable and unique.
We continuously upgrade our product range and cooperate with successful companies worldwide, making widebody kits for celebrities and developing new designs every day.
HOW WE WORK
Every new widebody kit starts with a design idea. We choose the car model for the new widebody kit ourselves or base the choice on a custom order.
First, bodykit sketches are created and the design is carefully rendered using CAD programs. Unlike other manufacturers, we try not to drastically change the design of a car with a bodykit. On the contrary, we emphasize the original design and bring out its aggressiveness and uniqueness.
After developing the design, we manufacture bodykits using the latest technologies. The process begins with 3D scanning of a car, cutting out matrices on a high precision CNC machine and producing ABS plastic by vacuum forming. We also make high quality carbon fiber parts from the finest fibers and resins on the market.
Depending on the size and complexity of the parts, this process can take from a few days to several months.
When the molds are ready, we perfect them by hand and vacuum form them.
Then we prepare plastics and test the fitment on a real car. Finally, we prep the parts for painting.
When you order a product in stock, it takes around a week or 10 days to prepare it for shipment and it can be shipped to you as quickly as in 1-3 days.
